Dear Zella,
It's been like 3 weeks since I last saw you. The last time I saw you, you were on the floor and having trouble breathing. I wanted to be close to you and ask what I can do to help, but Mommy and Daddy shoo'd me away. They were running around and I was getting scared. Then they placed you in the carry bag. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to say bye bye, if I had known you were not coming back.
I sometimes forget you are not here. I thought I heard you under Mommy's desk, but when I looked, you were not there. I miss you Zella. Mom and Dad is giving me lots of attention now. They finally know how to play fish!
